Through our cosmetic dental whitening program, you will gain an attractive and youthful appearance with brilliant teeth. This is a quick process you can choose to have done in our office or at home for maximum convenience. We also provide options for patients who have dental restoration work such as crowns and fillings.
The in-office treatments we provide are much more effective than home remedies that were available in the past. We deliver consistent and noticeable results in just one visit. We begin by thoroughly cleaning your teeth and take photos to have a record of your starting point.
Next, we apply a protective resin to your gums and follow that with a bleaching gel that remains on your teeth for 15 to 30 minutes. Sometimes we use an intense light to activate the bleaching process. Once we remove the gel and you rinse, we compare results on our chart. If you haven’t reached your desired level of whiteness, we can discuss further appointments.
The Missouri Dental Board and the ADA do not recognize the treatment of TMJ (neuromuscular dentistry) or cosmetic dentistry as a specialty. Further, the ADA does not require any additional training of dentists who perform or advertise these procedures. Dr. Quigless practices general dentistry in St. Louis, Missouri but he has many continuing education hours in cosmetic and TMJ therapy procedures at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
